Veterans day is a holiday for the brave soldiers that gave their lives for this country, and the world. These posters represent veterans day but they have a complete different meaning. The flag that is standing high and mighty means victory in the world war and to honor those that served in the war. while the foot print means the ugly side of war and the tragedies it makes, that each generation will follow the footsteps of the previous soldiers. In world war 1, I like the darker one better, because it shows truth of how terrible war is, a reminder of the pain and loss that everyone felt. It shows that we don't need war.
